Φ phi signifies the golden ratio, or the efficiency in nature, while 365 signifies every day of the year, i.e., the system is designed to work and learn every day.
Overview
For SMBs, we are designing iPhi365, a self-learning agentic AI system, i.e., a team of AI agents that work in the roles of the business alongside its people. It is designed around three sources: the business ontology, i.e., a map of the roles and workflows of the business; its internal knowledge base, including data; and the web.
Problem
In SMBs, a few skilled employees carry many responsibilities, and non-core work depends on external vendors with complicated agreements. Moreover, many SMBs want to apply AI but lack the time, the team or the budget to build and run an AI system by themselves.
Solution
iPhi365 is designed as a coordinating agent with sub-agents, each with the persona of a role, such as a sales executive or an accountant, and with the responsibilities, tools and permissions of that role. The agents are designed to use the existing tools of the business, learn from its team’s corrections and ask for approval before actions such as payment.
We plan to implement iPhi365 in three steps: mapping the roles, workflows and data of the business; configuring agents for one or two roles; and adding roles as the agents prove their value.
Users
The intended end users are the owners, CXOs and teams of SMBs. The agents are designed to take on the repetitive work of each role every day of the year, while people keep the judgment and the final decisions.
